Kathy's Story

Broken to Beautiful was born from a journey of pain, healing, redemption, and purpose.

For much of her life, Kathy Gibson walked through experiences that left deep wounds and lasting questions. She faced an unplanned pregnancy, the pain of abortion, the trauma of rape, and the heartbreak of divorce. Like many women, she experienced seasons where life felt broken and uncertain. Yet through each challenge, God continued to pursue her, heal her, and reveal His faithfulness.

Over the next 30 years, Kathy had the privilege of serving and walking alongside women facing many of the same struggles she had experienced. She listened to their stories, shared their tears, celebrated their victories, and witnessed firsthand the transforming power of God's love and restoration. Through those years of ministry, a passion grew in her heart to help women discover that their past does not define them and that healing is possible.

In 2026, following a significant life event that changed the place where she had been serving, God began stirring something new in Kathy's heart. What initially felt like an ending became the beginning of a new calling. During that season, God continually brought her to Isaiah 43:19:

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?"

That promise became the foundation for a new chapter—not only for Kathy, but for the countless women God will bring into her path.

Broken to Beautiful was created as a place where women can find hope, healing, encouragement, and restoration. Inspired by the beauty of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, the ministry reflects the belief that our broken places do not disqualify us. Instead, God can use them to reveal His grace, strength, and beauty in ways we never imagined.

Kathy's greatest desire is for every woman who comes to Broken to Beautiful to know this truth: God sees you exactly where you are, but He loves you too much to leave you there. He has a purpose for your life, a future filled with hope, and plans that are good. No matter what you have experienced, your story is not over.

Today, Broken to Beautiful exists to walk alongside women as they move from brokenness to healing, from shame to freedom, and from surviving to thriving. It is a place where new beginnings are possible because of the One who makes all things new.
